Keynotes

Prerna Gaur

Prof. Prerna Gaur is the Director of West Campus, NSUT, and holds leadership roles in IEEE Region 10 and India Council. She previously served as Director of East Campus and Head of Engineering Departments at NSUT. She holds a Ph.D. in AI and Control, with extensive teaching and industry experience. A prolific researcher, she has published over 180 papers, guided numerous students, and leads NSUT’s Technical Business Incubator.

Cristiano Tomassoni

Cristiano Tomassoni earned his Ph.D. in Electronics Engineering from the University of Perugia in 1999. He held visiting positions at the Technical University of Munich and Otto-von-Guericke University. Early work focused on enhancing electromagnetic simulation methods. Since 2001, he has been an Associate Professor at the University of Perugia, teaching electromagnetics and microwave system design.

Ratheesh K. Meleppat

Dr. Ratheesh K. Meleppat holds a Ph.D. in optical imaging from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Singapore, along with B.Tech and M.Tech degrees from Indian universities. Currently a Research Scientist at UC Davis, his research focuses on advanced ophthalmic imaging using technologies like OCT, SLO, and AO, combined with image processing and ML/AI. He develops novel algorithms for analyzing retinal data and investigates the use of these technologies for diagnostics and drug testing.

Harish Parthasarathy

Dr. Harish Parthasarathy was born in the UK in 1968. He received his B.Tech. from IIT Kanpur (1990) and Ph.D. from IIT Delhi (1994). He held assistant professor positions at IIT Bombay and Kanpur before working as an Application Engineer. Since 2000, he has been with Netaji Subhas University of Technology (formerly NSIT), where he is a Professor in Electronics and Communication Engineering. His research and teaching focus on diverse areas, including Digital Signal Processing, Quantum Signal Processing, and Neural Networks.

Sandeep Singh Sengar

Dr. Sandeep Singh Sengar is a Senior Lecturer and Head of Computer Vision and AI at Cardiff Metropolitan University, UK. He leads the Computer Vision/Image Processing cluster and represents the British Computer Society. Previously, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Copenhagen. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Vision from IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. Dr. Sengar’s research focuses on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, and Image/Video Processing, with publications in top venues.
