Dr. Moupali Chakraborty is a lecturer in Engineering Design and Manufacturing, specializing in electronics and instrumentation systems. Her research focuses on sensor systems, flexible and printed electronics, sustainable electronics, and device characterization. She earned her PhD from IIT Kharagpur, where she developed a low-cost instrument to detect milk adulteration. She later held a postdoctoral position at the University of Glasgow, developing printed tags for food quality monitoring, and gained industry experience at the AMRC, University of Sheffield.
Dr. Chakraborty has also served as an Assistant Professor at IIT Guwahati. She has authored 18 research articles, holds one Indian patent, and has over seven years of experience in circuit design, PCB development, microcontroller programming, additive manufacturing, and prototype testing. She teaches courses in Microcontroller and Interface Electronics and Computer-Aided Engineering, combining academic expertise with practical innovation to address real-world challenges.
